The Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office (HKETCO) and the “Business Today” magazine jointly organised the “2020 Hong Kong-Taiwan Economic Co-operation Forum” on 22 December in Taipei City. With “Grasping business opportunities in digital transformation arising from COVID-19” as the theme, the Forum invited experts from Hong Kong and Taiwan to share their insights and experiences on research, talent nurturing and commercial application of relevant technologies; analyse major trends of future development; and discuss how to leverage the strengths of and Hong Kong and Taiwan and generate business opportunities through collaboration between the two places. Hon Jimmy Ng, Chairman of the Hong Kong-Taiwan Business Co-operation Committee, officiated the event. Over 200 representatives from the business community and academia attended the Forum.
