The Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office (HKETCO) supported the Hong Kong Macau Joint Football Team in Taiwan to organise summer football training cum exchange event for Hong Kong students in Taiwan in August, inviting Hong Kong students studying in universities of Taiwan to train with local amateur teams and play friendlies with them. The event aimed to strengthen the ties between Hong Kong students in Taiwan and promote exchange between the two places.
