The Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office (HKETCO) collaborated with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council Taipei office to support Taiwan's cultural and creative industries to participate in "Hong Kong International Licensing show" and "Asian Licensing Conference" held in Hong Kong on 6-8 January. Through exhibition and activities, Taiwan industry players had more exchanges with peers from Hong Kong and other economies and gained a better understanding of the similarities and differences between Hong Kong and Taiwan’s cultural and creative industry development models. It facilitated them to explore using Hong Kong as a platform for expansion to markets in other Asian economies.
