The Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office (HKETCO) supported the Chinese University of Hong Kong Football Team (CUHK Team) to participate in a joint-university competition in Taiwan in December 2019, with a view to enhancing exchanges between students of the tertiary institutions in Hong Kong and Taiwan through football. Their tour to Taipei, from 26-31 Dec 2019, also included a series of exchanges with three local universities and Hong Kong as well as Macau students studying in Taiwan.
