A cultural forum on Professor Jao Tsung-I, supported by the Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office (HKETCO), was held on 24 May in Taipei City. The forum invited Professor Lee Chack-fan, President of Jao Tsung-I Petite Ecole of the University of Hong Kong and Chairman of the Management Committee of Jao Tsung-I Academy in Hong Kong, to visit Taiwan. He shared the contributions and achievements of Prof Jao, who was a leading expert in Chinese culture studies and dedicated his life to research, in relevant fields of Chinese studies, Orientalism as well as arts and culture. Around 30 representatives from the Taiwan academia, Hong Kong residents and students in Taiwan attended the forum.
