The Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office (HKETCO), the Taiwan Office of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Hong Kong Tourism Board Taiwan Branch jointly organised the 2018 Spring Reception on 7 March, with a view to strengthening ties with various sectors in Taiwan, and Hong Kong residents as well as Hong Kong businessmen in Taiwan. The event was attended by over 400 guests from various sectors in Hong Kong and Taiwan, including finance, commerce and industry, arts and culture, tourism, academic and media. Videos broadcasted and decorations displayed at the reception presented the latest development and opportunities, as well as the rich and diversified city space and appearances of Hong Kong, enabling the guests to experience the glamour of the Asia's world city.
