The Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office (HKETCO) and the Hong Kong and Macao Football Team in Taipei jointly organised the HKETCO Cup Football Competition on 22 and 23 April, with a view to strengthening ties with Hong Kong residents in Taiwan and promoting the exchange of football culture. Six football teams took part in the match, including two which were comprised mainly of Hong Kong and Macau residents in Taiwan.
