On 1 November, the Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office (HKETCO) and Taiwan’s Global Views Monthly jointly organised the “2016 Hong Kong-Taiwan Economic Co-operation Forum” in New Taipei City. With converging wisdom and keeping pace with the development of the innovation and technology industries as the theme, the Forum invited experts of the industries from Hong Kong and Taiwan as guest speakers to share their views and experience, analyse the major trend of the industries, and discuss how to create more business opportunities and facilitate industry upgrading in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Close to 200 people from the innovation and technology industries, the business community using the related technologies, and the academic sector were present. The Hong Kong-Taiwan Business Co-operation Committee and the Hong Kong Productivity Council also sent delegations to attend the event.
