“Innovative & Diverse – An Amazing Hong Kong” Roving Exhibition (October to November 2016)

The Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office (HKETCO), in collaboration with the Hong Kong Business Association in Taiwan, held roving exhibitions in Taipei City, New Taipei City and Hsinchu County on the theme of “Innovative & Diverse - An Amazing Hong Kong” between October and November. The exhibition showcased the advantages of the four pillar industries in Hong Kong, namely trading and logistics, tourism, financial services, and business and professional services, as well as the development of emerging industries actively promoted in Hong Kong, including innovation and technology industries, creative industries, arbitration and mediation, and intellectual property trading etc.. Apart from promoting Hong Kong in videos, photos, words and interactive games, the winning entries of Hong Kong Smart Gifts Design Awards 2016 were also on display at the exhibition to present the original designs by Hong Kong. Publicity materials related to Hong Kong, including notebooks on the theme of Hong Kong’s industries, were also distributed at the venue to enhance visitors’ understanding of Hong Kong.

The second leg of the roving exhibition, held in Mega City Banqiao Store in New Taipei City from 3 to 15 November, was well-received by members of the public. High Speed Rail travellers were attracted by the exhibition set up at High Speed Rail Hsinchu Station from 17 to 30 November..
