The Hong Kong-based Asian Youth Orchestra (AYO) gave a total of three concerts in Taiwan, including two performances in Taipei on 19 and 20 August and one in Chaiyi City on 22 August. Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office (HKETCO) was the sponsor that funded and supported AYO’s tour to Taiwan. Director of HKETCO, Mr Rex Chang, attended the performance on 20 August to show support. HKETCO also distributed publicity materials at the concert venues to enhance understanding of Hong Kong’s culture by members of the public in Taiwan.
