Witnessed by the Director of the Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office, Mr John Leung, and Chief of Taiwan’s Center for Traditional Arts, Ms Fang Jy-Shiuh, the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra (HKCO) and the Chinese Orchestra of Taiwan (NCO) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 8 July at the Taipei Lecture Hall of Taipei Zhongshan Hall. The two groups will jointly organise the 3rd International Conducting Competition for Chinese Music in 2017 and a series of cultural exchange activities.
