HKETCO promotes HK at lantern festivals in Nantou and Taichung (14.2.2014)

The Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office (HKETCO) participated for the first time in the Taiwan Lantern Festival, the largest of its kind in Taiwan. Large models of Hong Kong-style food were displayed, with videos and photos broadcast through a five-metre-tall LED television screen to show the different facets of Hong Kong and teach well-wishings in Cantonese. These gave members of the public in Taiwan a chance to learn more about Hong Kong’s traditions and customs.
