HKETCO Director attends the First Athletic Meet of Hong Kong and Macao College Students in Central and Southern Taiwan and visits Feng Chia University (25.5.2013)

Taiwan’s Federation of Hong Kong and Macao Students organised the First Athletic Meet of Hong Kong and Macao College Students in Central and Southern Taiwan at Feng Chia University on 25 May. Hong Kong and Macao students from a number of universities and colleges in the region participated in the games. Mr John Leung, Director of the Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office, attended the event and expressed support to the students. He also made use of the opportunity to visit Feng Chia University and meet with Hong Kong students from the institution.

Other major guests included Miss Nadia Leong, Chefe, Delegação Económica e Cultural de Macau (Director of the Macao Economic and Cultural Office) (fifth left) and Professor Lung-Shih Yang, Vice President of Feng Chia University (sixth left). After the opening ceremony of the Athletic Meet, Mr Leung (third left) and Miss Nadia Leong (second right) toured the campus with the company of a teacher and Hong Kong students from Feng Chia University. The two Directors in a group picture with them. Mr John Leung toured the campus Feng Chia University. Mr Leung and Miss Nadia Leong then met with the teacher and students for tea and learnt about their lives and studies.
