The Taipei press conference of "Hong Kong Week 2013"

The Taipei press conference of "Hong Kong Week 2013" was held at Huashan 1914 Creative Park on November 4. Under the theme of "Legacies and Innovations", this year's programmes will feature four thematic exhibitions and two cultural performances.

Speaking at the opening, Director of the Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office, Mr John Leung, said "Hong Kong Week" aims to offer Taiwanese audience a taste of Hong Kong's rich and diverse culture.

Through a series of visual arts and historical exhibitions, performances by two of Hong Kong's flagship performing arts groups, as well as an array of extension activities, Convenor of the Hong Kong-Taiwan Cultural Co-operation Committee, Mr Frederic Mao, hopes to show Taiwanese audience a side of Hong Kong that is not only steeped in local history and culture, but is also constantly evolving.

Three pieces of cheongsams to be featured in an extension activity - "Legacies and Innovations: Cheongsam Fashion Show".
