HKETCO Director visits Hsinchu City (25.6.2013)

Mr John Leung, Director of the Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office (HKETCO), together with colleagues of HKETCO, visited Hsinchu City on 25 June. The group called on Mayor Hsu Ming-Tsai and visited Taiwan’s Chiao Tung University (NCTU) and the Glass Museum of Hsinchu City respectively.

Mr Cheng Lung-Sheng, Chairman of the Hsinchu Chamber of Commerce, and Mr David Tsai, President of the Importers and Exporters Association of Hsinchu City, attended HKETCO’s meeting with Mayor Hsu. Mr Leung (fifth right) in a group photo with Mayor Hsu (fourth right), Mr Cheng (fifth left), Mr Tsai (sixth left), senior officials of the Hsinchu City Government and HKETCO staff.

Before calling on Mayor Hsu, Mr Leung first paid a visit to NCTU and met with teachers, staff and Hong Kong student representatives of the institution. After calling on Mayor Hsu, Mr Leung and colleagues of HKETCO visited the Glass Museum of Hsinchu City. The photo shows Mr Leung (left) being briefed by a volunteer of Hsinchu City’s Cultural Affairs Bureau on the exhibits in the Museum.
